Well ISIS and the other creeps have something to worry about. Go Putin !!

We fret about a Russian build up in Syria, supporting Assad, who is fighting our enemies ISIS. Meanwhile the EU and Nato have been trying to create a military presence in most of the countries surrounding Russia, like Ukraine and Georgia, trying to bring them into our sphere of influence. Who is the aggressor here? The hypocrisy is astounding. There appears to be very little evidence that our Government and the EU actually serve the interests of our citizens. At least the Russian does appear to serve their's, at least to a small extent, and a greater extent than ours. I don;t think it is in our interests to pick fights with the Russians for no good reason other than controlling territory most Britons want nothing to do with. It's about time we left the EU. It's also about time we had a UK Government that served our interests. They serve the elites and that's it.

What's the problem? Let Russia fight ISIS in Syria and spend their money and resources. Newsflash, we're going to need them and China when the rest of world capitulates to this mass migration and the indoctrination of a mindset that will bring us back to the stone age.

of course , its all designed to coincide with the rest of his plan in the region, but first he needs to make sure Assad is safe to achieve that, as he tries to form coalition out of a coalition to help him achieve that, serious as if the US led coalition would form to protect Assad who faces a bigger threat than ISIS , the Russians will have to fight the free Syrian forces , they have no option given the state of Assad's forces , and we all know , if their is no Assad their is no Putin in Syria ?

Old Cold War paranoia. Russia actually has boots on the ground tackling IS face to face. Whereas we prefer to drop bombs from miles above or fly drones from thousands of miles away. We're fighting a cowardly far. Russia should be praised, not feared. Putin might not be a great leader but he has no reason to risk all out conflict with the West. War is good business if you can provide arms and training at cost to other nations. It's not good business when you're involved in a huge war yourself.

Russians get to send observers to the biggest NATO exercise since 2002 called "TRIDENT JUNCTURE" in October with more than 30 Allied and Partner Nations, will take place throughout Italy, Portugal, Spain, the Atlantic Ocean, the Mediterranean Sea and also Canada, Norway, Germany, Belgium and the Netherlands. Trident Juncture 2015 will demonstrate NATO¿s new increased level of ambition in joint modern warfare and will include the biggest combined Amphibious assault in decades , which should leave a lasting impression on the Russians more so if they are invited on top of the flag ship which could be the likes of the USS America

Russia could waltz into any EU country unopposed just like ISIL! It would take weeks if not longer for a 'diplomatic' response never mind a military one!

Russiai should just be there as back up for Syria army ,help from air, when someone else does it(fighting your war) its not good for self confidence of that army , but the problem is that US is going for Asad army instead of ISIS

A sure bet Obama does not have the stones or the experience to handle Putin. Obama is the doormat for the world. Maybe he should apologize to Putin. He seems that is the way to handle things like this.

Let's all just stand back and see if Russia's never-ending benevolence shines in their Syrian intervention. Lord knows Russia has helped with all the major humanitarian crises in the last 70 years like......wait.....or like...hmmm.....maybe like....I'll get back to you on that one.

Putin is only doing what EU and Western leaders refuse to do. ONE man who has the BALLS to do the right thing and the West and EU jump straight on the criticism bandwagon! Leaders need to stop and think in realistic terms: What if Putin is right? He is NOT wrong simply because other spineless leaders won't condone his actions or follow his example. From what I read in global media reports, many ordinary people support Putin's actions and only the useless leaders condemn him because of their inaction and the widely held belief that hit and miss bombings are successful in removing a few ISIS members plus a high proportion of innocent civilians. Bombs alone will never put an end to the rise and spread of ISIS.
