He was speaking about the hope in the aftermath of Friday's terror attack.
Standing in front of one of the memorials in the city, Mr Satchell became overcome with emotion as he spoke about the aftermath of the terror attacks in which at least 129 people died.
His voice began to crack slightly as he said the last few words and he closed his eyes as he tried to compose himself.

Nothing to be ashamed of. Just shows how , even with seasoned, professional reporters this unfolding tragedy has hit home to us all.

Absolutely nothing to be ashamed of at all. Even reporters have a heart. Like I said in previous posts, everyone is in mourning.

We have all been moved by what's happened and that is what will destroy Isis! Our humanity and support for each other, this is something they will never have or destroy

This reporter, got caught up in all that emotion, and what it does prove,is he is a genuine caring human being,God Bless Him !!

You wouldn't be human if you didn't show sorrow for these horrendous acts.

Give Graham Satchell a blooming break, he has seen, witnessed and reported more mans inhumanity on man than most people ever see! Looks like he hasnt slept all weekend either, BBC bring him home and let him rest!

He has nothing to apologies for. Honest, decent reporting, and his emotions truly reflect the impact of this story on a city, nation, the world. So if a reporter's job is to tell the story as it is, he did it perfectly. Kudos to him.
