Say whatever you want about Putin. The man's got some balls. Not the ones Obama plays golf with! Russi just put the entire West to shame! Nato now means nothing. Well done Vlad, and this comes from biassed Poland!

Putin is running rings around the West politically and militarily. Our leaders are being made to look weak and impotent.

Whlie Putin has them on the run. the West goes all silent. I wonder why..

Putin is my hero. He's being criticised by the UK and US because they want Assad out. Loot what's happened in Iraq and Libya after they toppled Saddam and Gadaffi. Better the devil you know! Some countries need dictators to keep the warring tribes and sects at bay.

I dont think the UK or USA have a very good track record of working out who the baddies are. Go Russia.

Don;t mess up with Russia. Putin is right to keep Assad in place. Some countries NEED dictators to keep the warring tribes and sects at bay. Look at what happened to Iraq and Libya after Saddam and Gaddafi were toppled.! Better the devil you know!

14 years of nato blunders and now they criticise russia for doing what they should have done 4 years ago. And i am pretty sure russia wont jail their troops for 10 years for doing their job.

Go Putin. Wipe them out. I am rooting for you!

I don´t agree with all that Putin does but he is the most powerful man in the whorl today. Forget Obama. Putin plays international diplomacy like a masterclass chess game, & he dares to take action to secure his own aims. Like him or loathe him, h has the best chance of achieving stability Syria. Whilst Europe is left with all the humanitarian disaster. Textbook Realpolitik.

Go Putin! And don't forget to bomb Raqqa, the stronghold of ISIS and its' supporters.

ISIS is going to disappear soon from the world and the media. Well done Putin for the great job you are doing.

Haha. I used to tell myself the reason America was being so slow and nonfrequent in bombing syria was because it took a lot of planning to decide what to bomb etc. Putin is proving that it's all about will. It can be concluded that USA never wanted to destroy IS. But now Hundreds of IS soldiers have already deserted so Putins clearly doing something right.
