A woman pretended to be drunk in the street to gauge men's reactions as part of a social experiment - and the results will shock you.
A steady stream of men begin approaching her, but rather than offering to help her, they suggest drinking more alcohol and some attempt to get intimate with her.

Just goes to show that some men are predators.

Not in the slightest bit shocked. If you are a woman and have ever been in a slightly vulnerable position you will know this is the norm.

She isn't 'scantily' clad DM. I would say that is normal attire on a warm day.

The guy who tries to kiss her is a total creep! Ew.

I hope that all the 'men just being men' people here who are blaming the 'victim' have daughters. Then they can explain to them face to face than men are not responsible for their actions she is. I'm sure they'll appreciate that when his sort of thing happens to her.

1962 aged 15, I went to a wedding with older girls from my Saturday job... I given lots of gin & orange & got so drunk that I couldn't stand up and crept outside later to stagger home alone... I couldn't walk or barely talk then 2 young men passing by approached me as I was trying to walk normally and after deciding that I couldn't be left, sat with me for an hour until I had sobered up a little then they walked me home to my door, explaining to my strict father that it was not my fault & I was home safe... I'm not saying that assaults did not happen in those days but life was a lot safer then... Today a lot of men have little respect for women, let alone drunken ones... sadly drinking to excess seems almost normal for both sexes..

Per a lot of these comments, it's not ok for a woman to have a bit too much to drink but it is ok for a man to take advantage of said impaired woman? What if this were your daughter/wife/aunt/mother? What if the woman made a mistake and just had one too many? What if she was slipped a drug in her drink? What if men respected women enough to not assault them drunk or not? This sort of thing happens to sober women who are not alone nor dressed provacitivly. How about we stop making excuses for those people who commit the wrong doing and hold them accountable for their actions rather than blaming the victim?

I helped a fellow female (stranger) one night after the bar who had clearly been drugged. She was barely coherent and for all intents and purposes looked overly intoxicated. As I walked her down the street with one arm over my shoulder to where her friends were, it was disgusting the number of men who attempted to get her away from me and 'take care of her' or get her where she needed to go. I had to actually tell guys not to harass a drunk girl and to go away. It's an experience I will never forget and was a great reminder of yet another thing only women have to worry about... Keeping an eye on our drinks and/or being wary of drinks purchased for us. Hey guys... Don't be creeps! Not that hard. Pathetically over-sexualized nation. Yuck.

Horrible men, especially the one that immediately tries to kiss and touch her on the street! What a slime ball!

Where do you think the term "wolves" came from? They prey on the sick and the weak.

I was in a metro one around 11pm and saw a very drunk girl sitting by herself. I saw several men staring at her and one went to sit next to her and put his arm around her. After he left at his stop. I sat next to her and asked her which stop and made sure she stayed awake until then. She was thankful. Women please take care of yourself! If you're drunk at least try and act like you're not so you don't get targeted!

Obviously not all men are vile like the ones on this video. However, I know that a person, man or woman, does not have to be drunk for someone, also man or woman, to become aggressive and assault them. You can see some of the people on this video acted like predators. The man from the restaurant, standing inches away right away, almost bouncing around with excitement that he has found prey. The way he grabs her and controls her... Gives me goosebumps. Just because someone is drunk doesn't mean they deserve to be taken in a stairwell or hotel or in the middle of the street and have god knows what done to them. This is not a gender fight, this is a sexual assault fight.

If a drunk male walked around trying to approach women, he would probably get battered by a load of other men.

anyone that takes advantage of a persons weakened condition when they are drunk should be ashamed of themselves..........and charged as the preadator they are......with that said.....dont get so drunk that you become a victim.....

This should be an education for young women who like to binge drink. You need to take responsibility for your own safety and make sure you are always in control of yourself because, as you can see, you cannot expect anyone to take care of you when you are are so drunk.

People taking advantage of a drunk woman, no respect, sick really...

Some men (not all men) are predatory and opportunistic and will try to take advantage of a situation.

Men are so opportunistic. A female under the influence isn't a *sure thing*. Why do men have be so ...Lecherous? Where are the gentlemen? Where is the finesse?

Shame nobody taught these men anything about manners. Thankfully, my parents brought me up to not take advantage of people, especially those who are vulnerable.

There are more than enough leeches that will take advantage of anyone in a vulnerabile position. Be careful out there....

Not all men are like this. I have witnessed my really decent male friends helping girls in this situation, even fending off the creeps for them. This type of short-lived experiment has a way of making my good male friends and family members feel bad about even being a man. Pretty sad. We blame an entire sex for the bad actions of some not so good humans.

er... the second boy (blue shirt) and the last man (blue shirt) are Spaniards, the rest were latin american (1st mexican, 3rd -both boys in Plaza Mayor- colombian 4th-white shirt-another country, mexican or domican-,.... I know it becouse they have different accent than the Spanish one)... the second boy actually wanted to help her and told her to sit on stairs, becouse she was about to faint, call friends -of her-, and wait with her till her friends come back and she goes with her frinds, but the subtittles were bad intentially cut to seem he wanted to flirt with her, .... in the last escense, a guy -with latin american accent, very caribean one, don't know where- wanted to have s.ex with her, and one Spaniard, simply, realices that and goes to help her.....Conclusion: the boys that can't control his D were latin american and the guys that helped were Spaniard, but the footage doesn't say were they are from and it looks like Spaniard are p.ervs watching this.

A woman who is intoxicated can not give consent, and because of that, it is R A P E.

It is hard to respect someone drunk in public, whether male or female. But, it is inexcusable to take advantage of someone who is impaired. Folk like that are lower than dog dirt.
LuLu, Florida, United States
I don't think that is the point. It is a shame that these men are clearly trying to take advantage of her. If two people in a tipsy state consent that is another matter all together..... One man offers to take her to a staircase for crying out loud.... It's sad to see that vulnerable people should always be on the defensive. Humans are truly disappointing. It is truly a shame.
